On August 24, 2014, the interim inspection meeting for 12th Five-Year plan National Science and technology support project “dry anaerobic digestion and biomass gas utilization technology for northern city domestic garbage” was held in Qingdao city. The meeting was sponsored by the office of science and technology of Liaoning Province and Qingdao TianRen Environment Ltd. Prof. Yang Jianxin from the Research Center for Eco-Environmental Sciences, Chinese Academy of Sciences attended the meeting. The key lab of environmental biotechnology joined the first sub-project, which is “closed domestic garbage and kitchen waste collection, transportation equipment and intelligent control system development". The research and development work related to the sub-project is progressing smoothly.
